This signal meter provides visual and audio tone that rises in pitch as the signal strength increases. The meter will also light up for nighttime use. When using one of these meter, point your dish in the approximately correct azimuth and elevation. Slowly sweep the sky and listen for the audio tone; it will tell you when you hit the "sweet spot".
